Before you start reading... There has never been a time when our community and content was needed more. Unlike other sites, we don't publish sponsored content or share affiliate links. We also don’t run ads on our site and don’t have any paywalls in front of our content–-anyone can access all of it for free.

This means we rely on donations from our community (people like YOU!) to keep our site running. We want to be here to support you all through this pandemic and beyond, which is why we are asking you to consider donating whatever you are able.

A single (or monthly) donation of just $5 will make a HUGE difference and will help keep our nonprofit running so we can continue offering peer support for mental health through our content.

Asking for help when you’re struggling with any mental health issue is an important, necessary step. Sometimes, doing this is the scariest part of the recovery process. It can be so much easier to pretend like what you’re struggling with isn’t a big deal and it will just eventually pass.

The problem with this type of thinking is how it can lead to more suffering, more isolation, and more secrets. This only leads to making it even more impossible to reach out as time goes on.

If you’re struggling with your mental health, I encourage you to seek out someone who can legitimately assist you in taking the right steps toward recovery.

There are hotlines available, as well as counselors and medical professionals who are all trained and have the resources to get you the help you deserve and need. I encourage you to be brave, take the chance, and ask for help. For more information, visit our Resources Page.
