Recently, actress Jameela Jamil from “The Good Place” spoke out on Twitter against weightloss, diet, and detox teas and shakes and the celebrities and influencers who profit from promoting them (including Cardi B and the Kardashians).

At the same time, Jameela opened out about her own past struggles with an eating disorder and encouraged others to think twice (and consult real medical professionals) before taking advice from those who profit from promoting these harmful products.
