Sharing Your Story: My Experience

This month at Libero Network we’re discussing the power of sharing your story and what that can mean for you! In this video, I talk about the experience of sharing my story with my roommate. We’ll also discuss the benefits that come with doing so.

In this video:

  1. Why I decided to share my story: It was extremely relevant to share my story because I had just gotten out of treatment.
  2. What it was like: It went so well! I talk about what I said and what I wish I would’ve done differently.
  3. Fears I had: I feared having the eating disorder stigma placed on me and my roommate judging me.
  4. How it actually went: My roommate’s reaction to me sharing my story.

Lastly, I discuss when you should/can share your story and some tips on how to feel heard!
